Summary

​

I am a very hard working and an honest individual.  I am a people person and really enjoy working with others.  I really enjoy my garden, period dramas and my dog Jack.  I also like old films and soaps. I have 3 Beautiful children whom have all now flew the nest, all have done very well in life and I am very proud of them.

Software

I can find my way around a computer.  I have used most of the Microsoft publications such as, Word, Outlook, excel and internet explorer.  I am a fast learner and I am very willing to learn as I do pick things up quickly.

1987 – 1990

I was a packer and a viewer of carbons.

 

1990 – 1995

(‘A.T.P’ Victoria Street, Hednesford, Staffs)

Obtaining gears and putting them in the correct gear boxes.

 

1995 – 1996

(5’s Pit Industrial Unit, Rugeley Road Hednesford)

I made sandwiches with different fillings that were then distributed to shops and garages.                    

 

1996 – 1997

(Spar, Cannock Road, Chadsmoor, Cannock)

I worked on the tills, stocked shelves and freezers.  I also put newspapers and magazines out in the mornings.  My duties included general tiding after and during shifts.

 

1997 – 1999

2000 - 2002

(B.D.F Newlife,   Hawkes Green, Hednesford)

Removing labels from clothing, these would then go onto the shop floor to be sold.  I also priced up clothing to be sold in the store, I also inputted data into a software package in relation to the items to be sold in the shop.    All proceeds made where given to the charity B.D.F Newlife who would distribute the fund to children with severe disabilities.    

 

2002 – 2006

(Lakeside Residential Home, New Town, Great wyrley, Walsall)

My duties included, carrying out personal Care to the elderly,  assisting with bathing and showering,  assisting to get up and dressed, assisting to put residents to bed, preparing breakfast/lunch/tea, tea rounds,  assisting with medication,  toileting and promoting independence and dignity with all the residents.  During My time at Lakeside residential home I completed all mandatory training including Manual Handling, Health and Safety, Dementia Training, Food and Hygiene, Stroke Training and Infection Control.  I care for residents with moderate to severe Dementia, People who had strokes, Palliative Care (Care for the dying), Residents with M.S, Parkinson’s, people with physical disabilities and epileptic residents.

 

2006 – 2007

Bluebird Care (Domiciliary Care Provider), (MidStaffs/Stafford)

Providing High Quality Care in the community in their own homes.  My duties included, carrying out personal Care to the elderly,  assisting with bathing and showering,  assisting to get up and dressed, assisting to put Customers to bed, preparing breakfast/lunch/tea, tea rounds,  assisting with medication,  toileting and promoting independence and dignity with all the residents.  During My time with Bluebird Care I completed all mandatory training including Manual Handling, Health and Safety, Dementia Training, Food and Hygiene, Stroke Training and Infection Control.  I cared for Customers with moderate to severe Dementia, People who had strokes, Palliative Care (Care for the dying) and Customers with M.S, Parkinson’s, people with physical disabilities and Customers with epilepsy.  During my employment with Bluebird Care (2010 to 2012) I was offered a secondment for 12 months, which was salaried.  My Position was Assistant Coordinator/Admin.  Bluebird Care (Stafford) Opened as a New Office In 2010, I was there right from the beginning to help get the office up and running, which I found to be very exciting.   My Duties Included, answering the telephone (dealing with Social Workers/new Care Packages/giving advice to Careers out in the field/dealing with complements and complaints/connecting the caller to the right person in the office/dealing with private enquires i.e. selling the Bluebird Care ethos/  Pricing up Care packages/  Getting contracts ready and making sure they were signed and dated by customers and Managers/ensuring all Costing sheets from Social Workers where up to date and in place before the Care package commenced/dealing with all mail/writing letters as asked buy my Managers and Getting paperwork ready for inductions for new Care Workers/general office duties.
